Love the LED lights

Our fridge has been installed about a month now and I am happy with it. The LED lights are nice, both to save energy and because they give bright light inside. I like the 3 drawers in the fridge compartment; also like the various bins, etc. in the freezer space. Still haven't seen an electric bill but anticipate it will go down because this is energy star rated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mostly great refrigerator

We bought this to replace a failing refrigerator and are mostly happy. Great look, great features, great controls, great interior lighting and ice maker actually works. Only problem is the interior drawers. They are sticky and don't slide evenly, feel kind of cheap.

Great fridge with lots of storage and easy to re arrange the shelves! However, the storage drawers sometimes stick and are hard to open at times. The LED lights are a nice touch. The freezer has a built in pizza space, which is handy. Overall, this is a great fridge and I would recommend it. Our electric bill even decreased!

Great size, features and space, lots of drawers

I bought my new Frig. about 6 weeks ago and I am so happy with everything about it. The refrigerator that I had before this one was also a Frigidaire and I purchased it in 2003 and never had any problems with it. It just stopped working 6 weeks ago. I have alway bought the Frigidaire Refrigerators because they are so reliable. I have never had a problem with this manufactor and I will continue to purchase a Frigidaire for as long as they will make them.

Great Design

We bought our house about nine months ago. The previous owner had a top of the line refrigerator. From time we bought our house we were never happy with refrigerator. It was designed poorly. The shelf space was limited and we always had a problem with storing our items. The worst problem was that the freezer had shelves and no baskets and items were constantly falling out.
I saw our new Frigidaire on a showroom floor and knew that this refrigerator was a great one. The way it is designed there is plenty of space in both the refrigerator and the freezer. Items are handy to get to and, in the freezer, items stay in place. The digital panel shows the temperature in both the refrigerator and the freezer and is a snap to change.
I highly recommend this Frigidaire to anyone considering a refrigerator/freezer!

The worst Ice-Maker ever!

We've had this for about 2 months now - this replaced our old Frigidaire Gallery French Door refridgerator. This was supposed to be the newest updated version of what we had. For the most part, the updates are great. However, the ice maker is a real problem and very poor design. It does a poor job of cutting the ice - about 96% of the time, the ice is not cut and gets stuck in the very small opening for which it comes out of. Its too hard to fit your hand in to get it out. So, you end up sticking a knife in it to try to cut the ice or wait for it to melt just a bit and fall out all over your floor. The other problem is that the spout for water and the exit for the ice are no longer side by side. The water spout is right in front of the place the ice comes out. This causes a problem for certain water bottles. The water bottle sits too far back when you push it against the plastic activator and the water spills all over. You have to hold the water bottle out and manually push the plastic lever with your other hand. Pretty inconvenient! I would not have purchased this model if I knew what this ice maker was like and the re-designed ice/water dispenser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Icemaker woes

I like the refrigerator, but the icemaker dispensing system is very aggravating. The ice gets stuck in the small chute inside and you don't realize it until it's too late, then when you open the freezer door, you get the excess falling out everywhere causing a royal mess. Going to try calling Fridgidaire, but I don't know if this is repairable. It's a shame cause it does make a lot of ice, and the refrigerator is very nice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
