Pretty but Noisy, Ice Jams, Cheap Shelves

We have had this for three months now. It is noisy, the ice maker jams, the baskets in the freezer section do not function properly in the tracks, the drawers in the refrigerator are super squeaky. It does cool as promised. Not impressed with the quality, however.

rp2003, we hate to hear that your refrigerator has been so frustrating for you. Page 22 of the Owner’s Manual for your model goes over the normal operating sights and sounds. Sometimes rubbing the crisper drawers with either wax paper or olive oil will help ease them. Did you receive the parts we ordered for the freezer baskets on 7/11/16? Cheap ice maker

I purchased the refrigerator 2 years ago and have had to replace the ice maker 3 times under warranty. Even repair techs say its cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features bad operating system

Looks better than it sounds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge looks great, versital storage, 21st century digital controls. My complaint is the noise the water and ice maker makes, sounds almost like it is dying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Mugsy123, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It is normal for the ice maker to make humming sounds as the ice mold travels back and forth between its Fill and Freeze positions. This sound may be audible twice for about 30 seconds each time during a normal ice making cycle. Hope this helps! -Jennifer

Good Refrigerator

Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the fridge in July. The grate didn't fit on the bottom and one of the inside drawers would not close unless you used extreme force. The freezer had ice build up on door and inside. Repairman came out to assess. We had to order new drawer and he had to cut notch in grate. New module was installed in freezer but ice build up continues. Repairman has to come out again!!

Very nice refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model for the side by side frig/freezer feature AND for the fingerprint free finish. Our only minor complaint is the delivery of ice from the door. The ice cubes have gotten caught, then all tumble out at one time. Or you press the lever for a couple of ice cubes, then get a whole cupful. It's not a horrible issue, but sometimes a bother. Otherwise, the frig and freezer have nice storage and have worked very well in the 6 months we've owned it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
