Front Door Freatures

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Frigidaire one year ago this month. It is so great having the crushed ice, or regular ice, and water right there handy. My grandson says we have the best tasting water anywhere. The filter does makes a real difference in the taste of our water now. We are really pleased with the space, the convenience, and easy clean-up.

Ice maker is horrible

Unit looks great and everything works well except the ice maker. If I leave the ice maker on it overflows into the freezer. Ice constantly jams in the dispenser chute and delivers ice in very inconsistent manner. Often times I am cleaning ice off the floor. Not happy at all with that. I would not buy this brand again!!!!!!!

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After delivery I hooked up the water supply per hand book directions and I have had the ice maker work for the first 2 weeks and it quit making ice. This is a brand new unit. Unacceptable!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Uh oh, AmyN! I am happy to assist you with these issues. It is not unusual on a for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed on a side by side. Air passes between air channels between the refrigerator and freezer sections. Slamming a door shut forces air from one section into the other, often pushing the second door open. If the freezer door stays open, check the leveling legs to ensure the appliance was installed with a 1/4" tilt from front to back so the doors close and seal properly. In regards to the drawer sticking, try rubbing a piece of wax paper along the edges to lubricate it. If this does not help, please contact us directly for further assistance. Best Wishes, Brandi
