ICE MAKER SUCKS

HAD TO BUY ICE AFTER A WEEK OF HAVING IT, CANTR MAKE ICE, OLDER MODEL IS BETTER!!!

TANK IV, thank you for sharing your situation with us. I apologize your refrigerator is not making ice and I can definitely understand how frustrating this can be. If turning your ice maker off and then restarting it does not solve your concern you would require more attention. Ice makers only work if the freezer is below a certain degree mark and if the water filter is not blocking water flow. Have you noticed any issues with the freezer temperatures being too high and thawing items at the same time? If not, then you will most likely have a concern within the ice maker itself. This is not something we can troubleshoot over the phone or through the computer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far (1 month) working as expected. Storage bins are somewhat flimsy and hard to pull out and push in. I resolved by simply placing a film of typical bar soap to the slides. Plenty of room, LED lights give adequate lighting. Minor issues- water dispenser seems to drop water after each use. The unit is loud, always making noise when cycling.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall very pleased with the unit. We thought we wanted black stainless, but saw how easily it seemed to scratch so we decided to get the Frigidaire Gallery Series as we liked that finish as well. (Plus we were getting the Gallery Series oven combo installed right next to it-so they look great!) We like the lighting inside. It's quiet. The only thing that is problematic from time to time is the ice maker. It seems to push too much ice out of the dispenser and then gets hung up. Then it backs up inside the door OR if we don't notice it, it's starts melting out the dispenser onto the shelf then the floor. so we've been keeping and eye on it and clearing the jam on occasion. We thought it was something we were doing wrong at first, but will call for service this week. We've had the refrigerator about a month.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really cheap quality

The drawers stick and are hard to open as they have no rollers. The ice maker works sporadically.

Uh oh, blossman! I can imagine the frustration you are experiencing with these issues. To lubricate the drawers, try rubbing a piece of wax paper along the edges. This should allow them to glide more smoothly. If you are having trouble with the ice maker, make sure the water valve is turned on completely, the bin in pushed all the way in, and the doors are fully closed. Never again!

First time buying Frigidaire, and last time. My wife picked out all Frigidaire appliances for our new kitchen, and we've only not had a problem with oven. The over range microwave died right at the 1 year mark. Freezer frequently produces very loud noises. How loud, the everyone sleeping will get out of bed to find out what the heck is going on. Everyone will need to go outside to hear each other. Will up load video for everyone to hear after we plug it back in. We need a break from the noise.
