Lifts appliances to proper height

Bought with washer and dryer. Works well with boxed detergent and smaller bottles of bleach and fabric softener, other wise you will have to lay them on their sides to close the drawers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The drawer gets our dryer higher off the floor requiring less bending over to load/unload.

BAD Design

We purchased the washer/dryer pair that uses this pedestal...LOVE them-HATE the pedestal...Problem is that it is too shallow to put laundry bottles in it that are anything but the smallest size...Anything over 9 1/2" tall will not fit...Check bottle size the next time you buy and see how really small they have to be...CANNOT imagine how GE would design something that would be almost worthless...Our previous front-load washer's pedestal was 12 1/2" deep and would hold a lot of bottles...Not a deal breaker but super disappointed!
