Awesome but beware

To further explain the 4 ohm thing, I've been looking for an amp that can drive these subs at there 600 watt RMS rating. I was looking for a amp that put out 600 at 2 ohms, until I found out the subs are 8 ohms each and are wired together to make 4 ohms...thats dumb. I'm a little upset, I've never even seen an 8 ohm on the maket until now. Just make sure you REALLY get the right amp, look at 4 ohm ratings not 2 ohm. It's a small thing but I already bought the Panasonic KAC-10X amp that puts 700 at 2 ohms, then I found this out...the 4 ohm rating is 350 watts...not bad but not RMS. Aside from this poooo These subs rock!!! VERY loud bass, I'm used to subs distorting a high levels but these stay true!!
What's great about it: Good clean and loud bass
What's not so great: The subs are not 4 ohms each
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have these hooked up to a 600W Alpine amp and they sound great, i have had these for over 2 months self installed and they are still beatn hard
What's great about it: 2 12" subs, box (very nice), cheap, light effects
What's not so great: enclosed
I would recommend this to a friend!

For those of you haveing trouble getting these to light to the music. You must tap into your speaker wire and not a power 12volt sorce. Just take a wire and run it from the speaker connections on the box up to the light connection on the box and thats all you do.. For the price these look good and sound great..

I have one of these in the back of my Trooper, powered by a 600w Pioneer amp. My head unit is a Sony cdx-520. This setup* works great for me; sounds very loud and clear, and the speakerbox hits like a man.
Highly recommended; great box that is powerful and sharp looking.
* go with the best buy install for sure (unless you are a pro)
What's great about it: Loud, clear, cool looking
What's not so great: bass is loud but can't kill birds
I would recommend this to a friend!

this subwoofers hits very hard once u connect it with the right amps i was just looking for a liltle bass in my car thats why i went cheap but after i hooked this up yesterday it was far too much than what i wanted. The bass too loud its lik my cars gonna fall apart, this is a real steal.............i hooked this up with a sony 1200w bridgeable 2-channel mosfet amp, the output is so clear and loud am so glad i got them..
I would recommend this to a friend!

Picked these up the other day. I looked all over the internet and this was the best deal i could find for a bandpass enclosure for 12's. Very nice durable enclosure. THey are 8ohm speakers wired to make 4 ohm? never seen that before in car speakers. but o well they look sick and have some good bass definately would recomend to beginners or people on a budget you will not be dissapointed for the money spent THE BLUE LED"S are AMAZING!!! THey make the speakers look 500 times better. Other than the 8 ohm confusion not a big deal if you want the blue led's to glow you have to hook it up to your battery besides those 2 minor things this is a great buy and i am completely satisfied with them
What's great about it: Good PRice good setup sick led's
What's not so great: 8 ohm?

I HAD THIS DUAL SUBWOOFER INSTALLED LAST NIGHT ALONG WITH THE DUAL 580W AMP AND IT KICKS LOUD!!! ALL MY SPEAKERS ARE INFINITY AND MY DECK IS A PIONEER WITH ALL THE GOODIES. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE HOW AWESOME IT SOUNDS, THUNDER IN YOUR CHEST AND ALL! SITTING IN THE BACK SEAT WILL BLOW THE HAIR OFF YOUR HEAD!!!! THE DUAL AMP WAS ONLY 109.99 AND THAT IS A STEAL. THE BLUE COLOR ON THE SUBS IS PRETTY COOL TOO. I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT ALL THE POSITIVE THINGS BUT I THINK YOU ALL GET THE IDEA!!!!!!! KEEP ROCKIN'!!!!!!

this subs are the best deal you can bargain for... my homegirl hooked it up and BAM! i was rolling with some sweet bass. the visuals are very cool...
What's great about it: loud bass, even though i got a weak amp(240w)
What's not so great: haters
