We've had other streaming players in this house (2), and none of them have the interface, speed, and media aggregation capabilities of the Roku3.

1080HD nicer than 720 cable; Roku channels! :)

I added Roku 3 because family took my Roku 2. LOL!!! Both have great 1080HD that is noticeably better than 720 cable. The Roku 3 is very fast when changing channels and displaying menus. Rokus give you a wide variety of Roku channels that other streaming players just don't do. I can't watch my favorite channels on an Amazon fire, but the Roku lets me watch anything from any other player PLUS Roku channels.

We use the Roku to stream live television broadcasts. We have an Xbox and used it until it was always try to catch up. The Roku makes it like we sitting in the audience. Works great for what we needed and then all the extra features are really nice as well

Roku combined with Plex is the only way to go

Purchased ROKU to watch Plex content from my own server. Tried Several Roku 2's and had problems with having to constantly reboot to clear lockup. Then the ROKU 3 came out and I have not had any problem since. I have 2 of them. I use them for only 2 channels that being Netflix and Plex for my own content.

It is a good device but I am having an issue with the sound cutting out every 20 seconds. I have seen other people having this issue also. The only fix that Roku comes up with is to change the sound settings to stereo. That still did not work. This would be a great product if they could get that issue figured out. Very frustrating to watch.

I bought the Roku 3 after much research and questions to friends regarding their service and experience. I am glad I did. I love that I can find any type of show I want to watch at my convenience. It was easy easy to set up and use.

The features allow one to easily browse TV, movies, and other channels on the ROKU. I bought this a couple of months ago and am going to buy a "stick" for my second TV - I love it.
