I got this for Christmas and I have enjoyed it. Much cheaper than having cable and I have most of the shows and movies that I could get on cable.

Excellent UI and flawless streaming

The Roku 3 UI is extremely intuitive. It is a virtual marketplace for a multitude of free and subscription streaming products. Performance is indistinguishable from local content and is absolutely free of pauses and shuddering on a 6 Mbps DSL.connection. I added a remote on/off module to prevent accidental streaming and facilitate operation of a 3-1 HDMI switch. A built in on/off switch would be a welcome addition to the next generation player.

Researched number of players with Roku recommended as best! Roku 3 has been great for over a month now. Had watched Apple TV from my son's TV. Son saw my Roku 3 and bought a Roku 3 player to replace his Apple TV!!!!!
