Simple to use, expands our tv experience

We now own 2 Roku 3 units. The ease of use makes this a wonderful product. Response time is instantaneous unlike our blue ray player with Internet (which is frustratingly slow).

Alternative to high priced satellite!!!!!

I bought my Roku about a month ago and am on my way to becoming cable and satellite dish free. The only thing left for me to do is find an antenna that can pull in the local stations. I can choose what I want to watch and not be subjected to junk channels from cable and satellite. Roku has a lot of free alternative channels that add to the mix. Roku is user friendly--you don't have to be a rocket scientist to get up and running.

Good selection of programs

The Roku is easy to use and has many good selections.
The only complaint that I have is that from time to time the Roku loses the Internet connectio for no apparent reason. It's annoying but not a deal breaker.
Should get into deals like the Tennis channel that has hooked up Apple TV.

No Netflix

I bought this to use it primarily with Netflix, but oh surprise, even though Netflix is available in Latin America, you have it blocked on the box, so my Roku is sitting on a closet in its box for most than a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's OK but the remote stopped working

It's a neat little box, but man, pretty annoyed right now. My remote just completely stopped working after about 3 weeks of use. EVERYTHING I tried failed to pair it again. I spoke on chat with a CS rep, and it took him like 5 mins to answer every question, and all his suggestions failed too. So he told me to use the phone app. While that works, it's very annoying to have to count on that as the only remote... Examples - my phone battery is dead. If someone calls me while I'm watching TV, I can't pause the TV... Very annoying... So, no, I won't recommend to a friend because of that. If someone feels they have an idea that might work, I'm all ears.
