I was very displeased with my Roku 3. Not having a dedicated audio out port on the box itself was the biggest reason for me returning it. The headphone port on the remote would cut out and skip, and was crackly at best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I fired the satellite company 3 years ago. Bought a tv antenna for local channels and our first roku. We now own 3 Roku one on each tv. Our last purchase was the Roku 3. It's faster than the other 2 and has several new features the others don't have like extended range and ear phones. We have tried several other streaming devices like DVDs players and non of them compare to Roku. We recommend the Roku to all of our friends and I would recommend it to you.
