Got a E-mail that movie, Gone girl was on movies, but it's not on

Roku is good for a few things. Buying content - most of the major vendors, (except Apple), are represented although they are also represented on many other devices. Roku has a ton of "channels", although most have very low quality programming IME. And finally, Roku came late to the table for showing local content, like from my home computers and the UI for doing this is pretty sad. You can't read the names of the files on the display, fast forward and review are stop action and don't work very well. And the box has no "off" command.

Easy to set up and enjoy!

I was going back and forth for over a month, trying to decide how I ultimately wanted to watch TV in my new house (to buy cable, not to buy cable? Apple TV? Roku?) and ultimately settled on the Roku 3. I am so, so glad I did. It is an absolute breeze to set up, and if you already subscribe to services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime it really does create a totally seamless entertainment experience. I can watch a show via Roku on my TV downstairs, pause, and then go fold laundry in my room and pick up right where I left off on my laptop. I LOVE that. It's so user friendly -- just a couple of clicks to get to whatever you're in the mood to watch. I'm beyond pleased with my purchase!

Has Dailymotion but can't turn off age gate. I have cable box to HDMI and Roku connected to tv via second HDMI tv input. About 80% of the time when switching to Roku i get a copy protect error that requires either a power off reset or a Roku reset via the remote and a lot of maddening clicks
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than chrome cast.

Got chrome cast for Christmas, returned a week later because it didn't work like it said. i upgrade to roku an love it ,works like a charm! I do have a problem with screen mirroring but i think it's my tablet. I give it two thumbs up. Highly recommend it.
