I got this to cut back on our cable bill. It has done that for sure. The only thing is I wish I could get more HGTV channels. There is also a bunch of home options but they are more infomercials and I am not a big fan. My 6 year old has probably enjoyed it the best to have all of the episodes of his favorites right there. The remote with head phones is nice too!!

I finally decided to cut the cord on cable and purchased the Roku 3 after reading reviews. SO happy I did! I replaced a hulking DVR player that took up half the entertainment center with the cutest little Roku box. A note: I am not technology-minded and this was a breeze to set up. Even after adding some pay services like Netflix and Hulu Plus, I *still* save over $50/month over my old cable bill. Never look back!

Good Online Media Player

I bought this device in hopes of severing the cable tie. Although the device is great and I have had no issues with it, there are a few small drawbacks. I have found that apparently I watch CBS a lot. This is OK, but you can't watch CBS on ROKU. I have found that ROKU also does not offer a full web browser. So I still have to pull out my laptop to watch things that are on CBS and on CouchTuner. Other than that, the device was super easy to setup and use. Everyone in my house loves it.

In love with ROKU!!

We decided to stop using cable and go antenna and supplement with internet. ROKU has made the transition seamless. We get to see ALL of our favorite shows plus are finding new shows to watch everyday. I don't know what took me so long to decide, this is a no brainer.

Interferes with wireless network and cable

The basic system works but I have to unplug it when not in use to avoid interference with my wireless system and cable box. Website provides no support for this issue
