Better than cable

Excellent product, more options than i expected, I have pulled the plug on cable and do over the air and Netflix, now with Roku i Have so many more options.

We made the switch from "hard wired" to "wireless" a month ago and love it! Immediate Cost savings, easy set-up, great interface.

Hard to get set up but worth purchasing

I bought the ROKU 3 having already been an original old model Roku owner. It is not at all user friendly getting set up as it did not want to connect to the LAN. This was an apparent issue with the box as an internet search showed many many people with the same issue. Ultimately this was fixed with a long call to customer service / support where secret screens and menus were accessed. Once set up the ROKU 3 is the perfect box with many channels that are super fast loading.

Best surround audio available

I tried a number of different products (Fire TV, Apple TV, and this one) using Plex, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. I really wanted to like the FireTV but it was very limited on producing surround sound due to android software issues. The roku can support much more 5.1 audio than the other units. It will not pass 7.1 audio unfortunately. I'd really like to see that supported since my receiver can do it. This is the only reason I have not selected 5 stars.
