I bought this about two months ago. I am very happy with it. But I still need local channels ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and PBS. I am ready to pay for this channels for weather and local news and sports.

Buying the Roku 3 is the best thing I've ever done. I love it! I had Roku 1 for about a year, then discovered my Dad had the 3 so I went out and bought it. I like the way things stream on the three, and how when I watch Netflix I can pick my list of movies. Instead of it being just limited to the main account holders Netflix account

Got it for my Son's room, because we didn't want to have to pay another monthly fee for an additional cable box. Works great and he has no problem navigating through the menus, to find what he wants to watch (he's six).
After watching him utilize it, I'm half tempted to get rid of the cable box in my room and replace it with the Roku 3.

Ability to search across apps (Netflix, Amazon, etc) is a great feature. My kids love the headset on the remote feature.
