I purchased my Roku 3 about a month back and having had other machines can say that this unit is the most friendly of any that I have tried. Near idiot proof I'd suggest. Thank you for a class product.

Way more complicated to use than we expected.

Roku 3 takes forever to enter passwords etc for everything. We've used it twice since we bought it about a month ago. Very disappointed. It offers a lot, but lots of movies cost money to see. Setup was not too hard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this product to compare to my Apple TV 3 and hands down it is the best. I use it mostly to stream movies from my in-house server. It's lightning fast and easily travels anywhere you want to take it...

I got RoKu for 2 years now and we like it my grandson like to watch PBS programs.

Love My Roku but wish it had an ON/OFF switch.

January 2015, I cancelled my U-Verse TV and went back to antenna TV and figured that was the end of it. At Christmas, my dad said that his next TV would NOT be a smart TV and instead he would just use Roku. I have an old HD monitor TV and thought I'd never be able to have internet access, but then I remembered what dad said. So I did some research and headed over to Best Buy. I got the Roku 2 since it had the white, red, and yellow a/v cables. I came home, plugged it in and easily went through the set-up process and signed up for Netflix. It's been great. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that it does not have an ON/OFF feature so I unplug it at night as the Roku box tends to get a little warm. I put some pads under it to lift it up just a bit and allow for airflow underneath as my dad said this was a problem he found others mentioning in reviews.

I cut the cord and exclusively watch programs via Roku. Roku 3 does the trick.

love it so much! never bored always something to watch....my tv is 6-7 years old and it works great with the roku3 i dont need to buy a new tv with the roku its a smart tv lol

Like it but don't love it. the search features are sometimes difficult to find for the various services. Would like to have on flat rate across all providers. Remote could use some additional buttons to increase functionality. Want access to BBC programming.
