it is fast to load applications, it gives a good picture - I use it mostly for Netflix where I can get closed captions. The remotes works well, and it didn't deplete the battery like I have read in other reviews. There one regret: it doesn't have yet a good app to display photos and videos from my own hard drive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as much free content as expected

Much harder to navigate than the Roku 2. Not as much bang for the buck, besides the actual hardware upgrades.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really have been enjoying my Roku. You get to watch movies on Netflex and all tv shows on hulu plus. You get to do this a a very low price.

I purchase my first Roku 3 10 months ago, after great satisfaction I ourchase 2 more. I cut the cable!

Easy access to my Netflix and Hulu Plus, as well as lots of free content. Easy to install and use. No learning curve.

Great product

I received this as a Christmas gift (I already had the original Roku). I found this very easy to install and use. I put the original on another TV and installed Roku 3 on the one I watch most.
I would recommend this to a friend!
