I brought this Roku so that I could stream JW.ORG. I got way more. I am so very pleased at the ease of use, the many choices I have, and the email alerts.

Good Product

I have had the Roku 3 for about 2 months now. It's been working great. The only issue I have had is every now and then the remote loses connection or something with the base unit and the screen options start scrolling uncontrollably. I have to take the batteries out of the remote and replace back in to stop it. Not sure what causes this but has only happened 2 or 3 times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased a Roku 3 approximately a year ago to watch netflix on and my initial opinion was good and it worked well. Recently I have had many problems getting connected or after being connected will lose contact. I have had my wireless provider check my signal and I had a great signal. I can log on netflix on my tablet not my roku. I would not purchase another Roku 3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have first-gen Rokus in another home. As a Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu+, and HBOGo client, we added the new Roku3 and (even better) the TotalMount, which has integrated our TV separate from Cable and our BluRay DVD Player. The setup is seamless and fantastic!!
BTW: the handset option of earbuds not only permits non-intrusive use, but also enhances stereophonic sound!

Streaming made easy

I bought on recommendation from my sister. I am new to streaming. The Roku3 box is top of the line. When I got it I watched all the seasons of Scandal and Orange is the new Black ~ NO commercials! is one of the best parts of streaming. I have to learn which are all the free channels I can access. I wish Roku would give a complete list of free channels. If they already do, where do I look to see the list?

We've had our Roku since December and have really enjoyed it. I had just about given up on regular TV and being able to watch movies, Brit shows, etc, is just great, especially with the convenience of the earphone feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!
