New dimension to my TV viewing

This little jewel has added greatly to my tv viewing and at a reasonable price. I should have gotten one long ago.

We bought our roku3 player 2 years ago.I purchased it for a gift for my husband for father's day. We had talked about buying one for a year. We even had a saleman for our local phone service tell us the benefitso of owning one and he was to give us a unit. We waited and called our phone company and they didn't have a clue, thankfully he didn't have any money or important information. So far, we have the unit in service everytime we turn on the t v. Mostly on Netflix, History channel, A&E, or PBS. History and A&E have limited shows and you have to sign in occasionally. We are not cable or dish subscribers, to be on honset the list of channels we watch is pretty small due to the fact we are busy and paying for such services is a waste. Roku3 is a worthwhile investment, and my husband shows it off constantly, recommends Roku3 to his cleint, friends and family often.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was given a Roku for Christmas. It is very user friendly, easy to install, and great for immediate gratification. I have discontinued my cable TV and now watch what I enjoy with few or NO advertisements.

Great Devices

I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick first and it worked great. Two weeks later I purchased the Roku 3 Streaming Player. The streaming stick is for hotels, I travel extensively. It works great with the in room TV's. The streaming player is for home use in the family room. Both come with the Roku remote. It's a extremely easy to use device with additional features. Setup of both devices are a snap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easier than I thought it would be

I live in a rural area and have slow DSL. I didn't think Roku or anything else that depends on internet speed would work but I felt it was time to give it a try. Glad I did. It works great. Maybe my DSL isn't as slow as I thought or maybe Roku is just a really great product.
