I bought the Roku 1 for my daughter. She is 3 years old and can navigate it all by her self. I fell in love with it went out and bought the 3 shortly after. It even works better than my smart tv.

At the top of the list is the ability to use a headphone in the remote control and mute the tv. Second is the ability to hand pick my programing from any imagineable venue saving the high cost of cable by only paying for high speed internet. Excellent speed if you have satisfactory cable service

I purchased a WD media player a year ago and had nothing but problems. I purchased the Roku 3 and the difference is like night and day. The Roku has a great interface much faster response time, more content and works flawlessly.

Now I can watch Netflix, etc without having to get a Smart TV. Customer service via internet chat was very patient and walked me through the setup. (I am technologically challenged.) I couldn't be more pleased.

Bought the device about 3 months ago and must admit that i wasn't to sure if it would change my viewing experience cause i already own a Wdlive Media device and truth be told i couldn't live without my ROKU it has totally revolutionised my world

almost a cable box cutter

I was hoping to use the HD Homerun cable box with my Roku's ,but it the two unit don't work together yet still have to use Comcast HD box's

Great bargain

I recently moved and bought a Roku 3 instead of buying any movie packages with my cable. Now I watch what I want when I want and I'm saving more than $50 per month. I already had Amazon Prime so there's lots of great content included for no more money. Easy to use and streams great!
