Great speed and fixable issues

Moving from a first, or was it second, generation Roku to the Roku 3 is to be blown away by the mighty power in a small package effect. That in itself deserves five stars. The two reasons I'm knocking a half star are firstly the double duty remote: I am not a gamer and while I get how it may be great for that purpose I think the glossy, slippery surface and the position of the play button beneath the arrows instead of, say, in the middle of them a tad irritating. Secondly, others have also complained about the pointless way the credit at the end of a Netflix film are shunted to a small unreadable box and, sorry to say, I have to join the chorus on that one. What's up with that?

Time Warner On Demand Site works better with Roku

Bought this with a new television and have Time Warner. My Time Warner box has been replaced twice and On Demand has never worked well or consistently. Using the Roku, I use Amazon Prime, NetFlix and Time Warner On Demand all the time. Love the little Roku.

I purchased the roku3 a few weeks ago and I must say I am not all the impressed with it so far. The streaming is blotchy at times and it just seems like another way for different providers to charge for almost everything, I mean pay .99cents to watch a free movie without commercials isn't free anymore. That is just one example that erks me the most. However I like the fact that it is a small unit with lots of choices to choose from
