It's easy to use, and has quite a selection. One thing though; we would like more movies from the 40's and 50's.

Lots of feautures and simple to use

I borrowed a Roku from a local library and fell in love with it. I went out the next weekend and bought the Roku3 The device as dead simple to install and use. I installed and activated the device in under 10 minutes. I have been able to add networks with ease.

I initially thought this was a HUGE mistake! It took a day or so for Roku and my internet to "get acquainted" with each other. After the bugs were worked out between the two, I have to say it's been great to watch tv in my kitchen! I do hope that Roku acquires local channels soon and that they are able to acquire more "cable" channels. I also think the apps that only allow the viewing of clips and not actual shows, should be banned from Roku. It's a waste of time!!!

Faster than our previous roku

There are more features on this Roku 3, and it is definitely faster. The only thing that is different that I don't like, is when is buffers (because I don't have the best internet), you cannot pause it. The previous Roku, you could pause while it buffers. Unless there is somewhere you can, and I don't know about it. We've only had this new Roku for little more than a month.

Lots of choices

We bought 2 Roku 3 units for our new televisions. We recently converted from old CRT TVs and wanted to cut the cable cord. The Roku plus an indoor antenna provides all the options we need, plus dvd/bluray players. So happy to have cut the cord from the Dish TV pirates! So simple to set up! Just need broadband internet connection. My only disappointment so far is Amazon Music isn't totally available on the Roku.
