Easy set-up, lots of goodies!

I got this for Christmas and honestly didn't want a Roku...but I am eating those words now! I am tempted to get rid of my cable TV just to save money now that I have a Roku. One of my favorite shows, Community, has all 5 seasons on Hulu Plus and the free 3-month subscription is worth the try and I plan to re-subscribe when my 3 months are up. Plus, it comes with headphones you plug right into the remote so when I'm studying, my partner can be watching TV--all in the same room!

Couldn't be happer

I originally bought a Roku streaming stick because I wanted to use prime video which my blu ray player didn't support, but I returned it because it kept dropping the internet signal even though it showed full bars for signal strength. With the Roku 3 I can plug in an ethernet cable and all of my previous problems are gone. I also have HD video now which I never had streaming previously because my connection was too slow, but some how Roku has everything optimized better than my computer or Blu ray player. On top of that it has some ESPN programing so I was able to watch the national championship college football game live.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought it last year and had trouble installing it. Expensive item plus extra cables purchased. Not happy that there are payments required for Hulu, etc.

Roku did not do what I wanted it to do and I returned it to the store. The product is highly recommended and I was certain it would work for my needs. The lack of mirroring of streaming from an I-Pad was the problem.
