plenty of channels, but still a lot of pay channel

beside many pay channels, Roku seemed to crash and freeze very often

Sleek small design. You won't even know own it's there besides the WiFi remote. Thousands of channels to choose from. Very easy to use. The 3 is the fastest of the rokus

I now have 3 regular Rokus and 2 Roku Streaming Sticks throughout my home. I am very impressed with the ease of operating all of these but especially the Sticks since it is just plug , register, and play. I have a grandchild that watches Netflix a lot and I watch a lot of Netflix and Amazon Prime using the Roku. Most of the time, there are multiple Rokus being used at the same time.Only once was I unable to access another tv while others were watching. Streaming is usually flawless.

Best at detecting a wireless signal!!!!

This is an awesome product!! It says on the box that it is a long range wireless receiver and they were not kidding!!!!!
Problem: My husband wanted to be able to watch Netflix in our bedroom. Our router/modem is out in our living room with a couple of walls in between it and our bedroom TV.
Experiments: I started out trying Apple TV. It would not connect to our network. I then tried Chromecast and it would connect to our network, but would buffer about three times during a 2 hour movie. Arrrrr!!! I then had a computer technician at work tell me to try a Roku 3. So, I did!!! And it works beautifully!!!!! Easy installation, easy setup (connected right away to our network) and no buffering!!!
Solution: Roku 3

works and performs great it is easy to see and choose between channels, it is very fast and intuitive, the earphone is a plus for me and most for my wife, my only complaint is that when I travel to Mexico or other countries, I can not make it work because the restriccion in territories.
