We really like being able to access Netflix and NHL online without connecting the Computer to the TV. This is so easy to operate. We love it.

So incredibly easy to use even for an old man like me. Didn't even have to ask my young son to help figure it out. You can literally watch nearly anything could ever want to. I love it!!!!!

Netflix interface is terrible

The Netflix interface on the Roku 3 is horrible. I have a 32 inch TV in my bedroom and I can't even read the movie descriptions from 10 or so feet away - and there is nothing wrong with my vision. Also, after watching a Netflix movie you are given 3 other options to watch - but can't get a description of those movies. And to get back to your full queue, you have to back out through the movie you just watched. It makes no sense. And lastly, the Roku screensaver does not work when watching (or pausing, technically) Netflix. Netflix blames Roku for this and Roku blames Netflix. The faster speed of the Roku 3 is very nice, but I use it mostly for Netflix and it's shortcomings are unacceptable to me. I actually sold my Roku 3 to a friend and went back to using my (slower) Roku 2XS.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have the Roku 2 and purchased this a Month ago, tho still not a lot of Live Streaming, it is the Best of the Best and look for more Add on Features.

Installation and setup was easy. Control via the remote makes it a lot easier than my other streaming video device! Content availability and easy access are an additional plus!

I used to watch netflix on my tablet and stream to my TV. It would buffer often and now with the roku 3, I dont have to deal with that annoying issue anymore. Also the picture quality is great!

Works we'll other than remote

Roku is great for streaming. Only issue is the remote. Even after replacing the batteries, it works about half the time. I resulted to downloading the app on my phone and it works great.
