How they invented this little jem I dont understand. Its a phenominal product puts shame to competetion to all other boxes including Apple TV. I love it more than my wife!

Can be better

I bought about 6 weeks ago.
Likes:
Radio transmission instead of Infrared - no direct line required
Headphones attached to remote instead of TV
Lightweight
Dislikes:
No "undo" button.
There is "back" (left arrow) button.However, I often hit "home" button accidentally and then I have to plow through menus to return where I was. The "back" button won't do it.
No custom preset buttons.
You have presets like Netflix, Amazon, rdio, hulu. I only use one of them. I'd like presets for other service providers, like Vudu...
PIP (picture in picture) would be nice.

My daughter got me the Roku 3 for Christmas. I'm so thrilled that she did. We're retired and I'm a nightowl; my wife is not. So, watching things using the Roku 3 earplugs is wonderful for both of us - she can sleep, and I can hear the programs.

I bought my Roku 2 for the sole purpose of having the WWE Network, as I am an avid fan. My husband is 65, country as cornbread and in no way tech savy. I am 63 and can work a laptop, and that is about the height of my tech knowledge. I didn't know who I was going to call to help me install the Roku2. I started reading the instructions and began the installation. Just me. I did it completely with the book. No phone call was made. If I can do it, anybody can do it. I love watching my WWE shows. I do have one concern, my WI-FI allotted time with Dish disappears quickly. I had to buy additional time twice and didn't use the Roku that much. I started unpluging the Roku2 when not in use. I was nervous at first unplugging it because I thought I would have to hook it all up again and wasn't sure if I could do it again. but when I plug it back in, it comes right back on! No problem. We LOVE it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I originally purchased a Roku Stick that was probably defective but I didn't realize it at the time, never having used such a thing. It died shortly after out of warranty. I replaced it with a Roku 2 and now know how well such things can work. Easy to set up and use and it works great!
