Upgraded to New Roku 3

I bought this became I really liked the headphone being built into the remote. I did not realize how much more battery use it would be to leave the headphones plugged into the remote. We went probably 8 months with our last remote before replacing the batteries. Now if I don't unplug the headphones it's a few days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not missing the cable

I really thought I would be missing my cable tv, but I'm so glad I cut that cord and got the Roku 3. It's so easy to use and the variety of channels you can add is great. No real issues; once in a great while the remote seems to get stuck on a button, I have to remove the battery and it's fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my Roku3 about a month ago thinking it would be a great way to stream movies. Little did I know everything else it could do. I’m now exploring content development and may one day put up a channel of my own. I’m very happy with my purchase. If it only had an on/off button…..

Problems Installing

Can't get HDMI cable to fit into unit. Connected cables instead.
Can't get anything to open. Tried to get "Downton Abbey" and "Doc Martin" on PBS and message said it was unable to locate the program.

I'd bought a Roku stick and it was okay but slow to load apps. Once you selected a show it was fine. Still, I wanted something better and upgraded to the 3. It's fast and great. Love it
