Bought our first this past November. We had issues with it. Returned that one and the other one we've encountered a few problems with it rebooting. But it might be our wi fi connection. I've had to call our cable provider and reconnect the internet. Then I have to reprogram the Roku with the password. Over all we like the product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We received the Roku 3 for Christmas, even though we already own two Roku 2. The Roku 3 is even better and faster.

complete waste of money

After owning it for about a month, I have yet to actually use it. The setup is convoluted and tricky, as far as I can tell -- the timing of putting batteries in the remote, plugging the Roku into the TV, plugging the Roku into its power source, and turning on the TV appears to be critical to getting everything to work. I've tried so many times to get it working, and every time I must do something wrong, except for one time a couple of weeks ago when I actually got it to work but spent that time just figuring out which channels I wanted to pay for. I then unplugged the Roku because its A/C adapter got to shot -- but then when I plugged it in a few days later, it was no longer working and I had to go through the setup yet again, which I apparently did not do right. Wish I could get my money back. Totally not worth all this time and effort to get working!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have been using this for about 5-6 weeks and the only glitch being that we had to power off and reboot one time. Works pretty good. Also have a Roku 3 and the Stick seems to work just as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
