I bought this a month ago and haven't used cable since! My whole family loves it and I love that it allowed us to completely cut out cable. It's easy to use with a basic interface that is not at all difficult to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife bought me the Roku 3 for Christmas because I was complaining so much about our cable bill. I'm not really computer savy so I waited for my stepson to come hook it up. Well he kept putting it off for a couple weeks so I did it myself. It is unbelievable how easy it was to connect. I had it done in 10 minutes max. I still can't believe the picture quality, the cable company had me believing I needed these expensive HD boxes for TV quality, BULLCRAP. The picture is better than it ever was before. Since then I hooked up a roku 2 in my bedroom.
I tell everyone this is definitely the best thing in Television entertainment!!!

Easy, but a little slow on start up.

I bought a Roku-Ready tv and saw that it supported the NHL gamecenter. I already had another system on my living room tv, so I tried the Roku stick. Love it. Simple and 1080 res as opposed to my other system which is 720. Hockey in high def rules! Big bang for the buck!!

Love that i can still purchase a tool to utilized with for my big box tv that pre-dates hdmi, but still works great and i do not plan to replace. i also love the fact you can download an app on your iphone. would be nice to have the same app for the ipad as well.

They run a little warm, but it's a fat free machine that works flawlessly towards its intended purpose.
While one can gripe about its text input capacity, the android app helps with some channels. In fact, that would be the first focal point if it were my business. Get the channels and app to play together completely.
solve that, and it's dead on perfection.
