Why Did I Wait!

Have cut the cable! Don't feel I have missed a thing. I subscribed to Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime. Am looking forward to not having a cable bill.

Riki streaming stick

Happy with the product but the remote could be a little more sensitive to the touch. You have to push to hard for results.

Great product

It was a terrific gift and helped us connect with some of our favorite content while away from home. The remote is really easy to learn and navigate and the earphone input is near genius - allows us the capability of listening through headphones and adjusting sound remotely.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stopped working

Purchased about a month and a half and it started flickering upon remote selection, then as I went to remove the HDMI connection one day, the HDMI connector fell inside the ROKU3 player, and it was very hot too, Now I'm stuck with a paper weight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features, but unstable

I bought it, hooked it up and had trouble configuring it. It connected to my network and the Internet but was never able to update itself. It still worked good for the first week, but then the remote stopped communicating with the Roku device. Could not get it to communicate at all. Finally returned it and bought a Chromecast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small compact and works well. Only wish it had a fiber optic audio port for sound so I could use my home theater system.

Remote control functions poorly

The streaming functionality of the stick works ok. It is not terribly complicated to setup and navigation in passable. My problem is with the remote and the location of the stick. I had to plug the stick into an HDMI port on the back of my TV and even with fresh batteries, I will have to hit the function buttons on the remote multiple times to get the desired action. Pausing/Stopping a program is extremely difficult. I am assuming this is an RF remote rather than IR and I understand why, but it is a very poor setup. I am maybe 10 feet from the Roku stick and the response should not be this poor.
