I like the 1080P display

As long as my ethernet does not go down, it works well. I wish it had the verizon fios available, sadly it does not. That is why I only give it 4 stars.

Great addition for home entertainment

Purchased this to start cutting the cord. My wife was skeptical at first, but we have been using the ROKU more than our cable TV. I used to have a HTPC for streaming TV and movies, but it was too complex for my wife. (I am a tech geek, so what is simple for me is Greek to my wife) Now with the ROKU we can just select a channel to watch and enjoy streaming TV/Movies without me configuring everything just to make it work right.
I was worried at first about the amount of channels and content. I have been pleasantly surprised about what is available. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a simple solution to cut the cord or add functionality to a dumb TV.
One thing I would like to see is an update to the remote so you can connect headphones via Bluetooth. I am sure that would be a battery drain, but it would be a nice feature. I would also like to have a keyboard for searching.
Overall a great purchase and well worth the money.

Bought this player at the beginning of the year after kicking my cable company out the door. Roku does an awesome job of bringing all the streaming apps together in one place as well as constantly updating you with all new apps. Quality product that no one else can touch. For cable cutters it's the best product on the market.

I have to unplug the unit and plug it back in evey time that I want to use it before I can use it. I shouldn't have to do this every time I us it.
