Disappointed Roku Media Player plays only a few types of files. Otherwise like it.

great piece, I upgrade my Roku HD to this Roku3 and I'm very happy. It's so much faster than my older Roku and the connection is very stable. Wired and wireless more or less work the same. I have cable ISP and of course wired is constant connection. very good HD screen display. I will definitely recommend this item.

So much to choose from

We were so tired of paying way to much for satellite TV and choose to switch to streaming after much research we choose RUKO and I am so glad, we have what seems like unlimited choices of programs, and it is simple to hook up and use.

I would be very happy if I could get some sports channels. I heard Apple TV just added the tennis channel. Sling is promising some espn channels but I don't see them also if only I could get some local news channels this product would be the best

Great for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and ESPN

I bought this to use overseas over a hardware-based VPN. It worked nicely, even over a relatively slow (4mps) connection. Now that I'm back state-side with FiOS, I continue to use it. I have no cable connection. I just gave Sling TV a trial and watched an ACC basketball game. Great definition and no lag. The only hiccups I've experienced seem to have been related to DNS issues. I've switched to DynDNS servers on my router and that seems to have fixed things.
