I finally got a Roku 3 and am so glad I did. It does exactly what I expected it to do, and has a smooth and clean interface.

This is my second Roku (purchased an LT about 3 years ago and have loved it). I purchased it for a second room which doesn't have a cable converter box, so viewing is limited. Perfect choice. I don't miss anything.

Not pleased that a credit card was required to activate - we have bought nothing, we will buy nothing, and we should not have to give out credit information.

Nice visual interface. Provides the standard for pay streaming apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus) like the rest. We find that the 'free' streaming apps provide less than stellar offerings (Fox News, Tubi TV, Crackle), most are now deleted. It does support Miracast for Windows 8.1 tablet streaming (stream Netflix from tablet) but video playback is horrid. Also supports Windows Phone 8.1 Lumia Icon streaming. Still doesn't replace for-pay TV.
