We love our Roku except for one thing

This is a great streaming device, better than anything our friends and family use -- except we have one minor problem. We lose the sound every time we stream something and have to stop what we're watching, cycle back to TV (cable) mode, get the sound back, and then go back to watching. If it weren't for this problem, we'd be over the moon.

I purchased this for a few specific reasons. I'm not a TV watcher but I do enjoy Netflix, Pandora and JW.org. I live in a 1,400 sq foot condo so it's perfect as I can hear the music and audio programs as I move about.

We used to get our Netflix from our smart dvd player, but reading about the Roku 3 and the speed we decided to get one. Best decision ever!!! It is so easy to use, the speed of loading Netflix is unbelievable. We are also enjoying the Pandora musci we can get through our Roku. The ability to plug our earphones into the remote makes it nice on those sleepless nights when you want to watch tv or listen to music without waking up the house. We couldn't do without it now. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good player to access Neflix or any of the other options available on the Roku 3. It's a powerhouse in a tiny package. We are over the moon happy with ours.

You can get exactly what you want at a fraction of the cost with superb picture quality. Take back control of your TV and tell the cable and satellite companies where to go. This is the future.
