The Roku 3 is a fast streaming device that is quite simple to use. Setup was simple. Quite frankly, a major improvement in our streaming enjoyment.

This was a gift for us for Christmas. Was disappointed that we cannot access all that 'LOOKED' to be available. We need to use our computer to "sign in" to most channels, so we don't use them. We did have a Netflix account prior to buying our Roku so that was no problem. It would just be nice to see all the channels and shows we thought were available, but are not.

At age 83 I can"tget it to work. My granddautghters know more about computers than I do. Must be great if I can only get it installed . I need hands on assistance.

Had this for about a month... the device is noticeably faster than the Roku 2, and support of netflix profiles was a nice new feature. The problem with this device is the interference with wifi signals. The remote uses direct wifi to eliminate the need for line of sight to work. However, that direct wifi signal is so strong and follows the same channel as the wireless router that after some time it jams the router. This occurs even when the device is plugged in to the wired network and disconnected from the wifi. Their troubleshooting steps do not fix the problem. It's an egregious design flaw that roku should be embarrassed of. Do a Google search for Roku 3 wifi interference and you'll find it's well documented. Unfortunately I can't recommend this device because of this big design flaw.

Much Better Picture Than Streaming from a Computer

I like to watch Reggae videos and had been using my computer. I had a Logitech Squeezebox for streaming music and noticed that the sound quality was awesome, so I reasoned that a product made especially for streaming would also do better with video than a computer. Bought the Roku. I was right!

I have had the Roku 2 for about a week. Really easy to hook up. Size is just right. Hand control is easy to use. In all a very well engineered piece of kit. Love being able to see u tube on the big screen.
