Best decision I ever made

We have had our Roku about a year and I have saved over $1000.00 by dropping DISH and watching NETFLIX and HULU.

I cut the cord about 5 mos, ago, I purchased two of these and really like them. Even my wife can use these and likes them.

Fast, Simple, Reliable

This is our third Roku three and we are very pleased with its features and performance. We have replaced all of our "rented" Time Warner high definition boxes with Roku players, a saving of over $400 per year. The Roku players pay for themselves. Our next move it to totally dump TWC and use Netflix, Hulu+, and Amazon for all our entertainment. We'll save over $2000 per year. Thanks Roku!

It's really good, but it has room for improvement

Apps are great, speed is good, menus are simple.
It does have room for improvement: motion sensor on the remote is not very good. Audio connection with the remote skips a little. And recently, my roku wouldn't start, I had to reset it several times to make it work again. No apparent reason to stop working nor to start working again.

I love the freedom from high cable bills!

We purchased the 3 Roku 3 boxes about 2 months ago. They work great with the exception of the remote controls. We can use the remote to control the boxes but eventually we cannot. We have to use our cell phones to control the box. We usually have to unplug the box and let them sit for a minute then the remote will work for awhile. We have go back to using our cell phones or resetting the box again. I love that the remotes come with the ear buds that you can listen when you don't want to bother others. We love the boxes and the freedom they offer with the exception of the remote issue.

Future TV Viewing

Friend at work recommended the Roku as a option to cable. Brought the Roku 2 the same day and was amazed at how you could stream thousands of free channels with the option to buy shows that you actually want to watch. Soon after I ordered the Roku 3 for another television, planning to buy the stick for a third television. Great work Roku!!!!!!!!
