This thing is great, I have been a beta tester and have been using the product for about a month or so. It's hand down the best streaming device out there. The best feature is the remote wireless audio, the feature is really a godsend! Yon't won't regret buying this!
Pros: Video selection, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Compact, Easy to use, Reliability, Easy to set up

I have used other Roku devices in the past and testing this device felt like the culmination of everything you hoped for from day 1. I never had any complaints about previous iterations of the devices, but my basic reaction to this one was 'Wow! They really got this right!'
Pros: Easy to use, Compact, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up, Great value, Headphone Jack In Remote

we installed the unit in our bedroom to substitute cable, we were disappointed with poor WIFI reception and inadequate number of free apps, would not have made the investment in retrospect.
Pros: Remote Audio Jack, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Difficult setup, Poor Corless Wifi Resepti, Limited Free Apps

Unreliable disappointment

I purchased the Roku 3, and was very excited at it's prospects. When I got it home, it would not maintain the wireless network despite repeated attempts. I reached out to the support department, where they had no real options to service it other than reloading the software multiple times, which did nothing and took hours. Ended up returning it.
Cons: Drops Wireless Network, Poor Support Options

I bought this for the main TV in our entertainment center but ended up using it in my garage. I went back to my old ROKU. The ROKU 3 takes to long to start working, and it doesn't pick up the signal as well as my other ROKU.
Pros: Attractive Design
Cons: Does Not Improve Audio/Video

Really disappointing

I was shocked at how fast the remote burns up batteries. Most of the things I wanted to stream through the Roku require Plex (Youtube, free Hulu channels, CBS streaming video, etc...) I was pleased that the USB Media Client let me plug in a USB 2 hard drive to watch mp4s but the latest version (1.4) isn't working for me (can't mount drive.) The kids like to watch the PBS Kids channel but currently that's the only use it gets.
Cons: No youtube, Difficult setup, Remote Battery Life, No Hulu, Useless Debugging Info
