I bought a new frigidaire and am so happy with it. Not only is it good looking, it is energy efficient, and quiet. It really opens up my kitchen and I get a lot of compliments

Ice Dispener

Have had the Frigidaire about a month. Biggest problem is the ice dispenser (both cubes and crushed). It does not know when to stop!! Ice cubes, etc. fill up the glass and keep going often causing a spill onto the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never had water ice option on door before. Love it. Always had a side by side but this one has more room than old one. Love love love the smudge proof skin. Thought I would drive my self crazy with finger prints.

Ice machine makes a small amount of ice.

We bought this a few months ago and so far it is working very well. It looks nice. The one thing we find disappointing is that the ice machine produces a surprisingly small amount of ice. We are a family of 4 (with 2 young kids) and often run out of ice. We are contemplating having a service person come in and look at it because we can't believe that it makes this little ice. (We have a second refrigerator, a Kenmore, and it makes 3x the amount of ice in fraction of the time.) If you are a single person or a couple that doesn't use much ice, then it wouldn't matter.

Love the look and design

This refrigerator looks great in our home! I like all the shelf space it has, sometimes the bottom drawers get stuck, but if you put heavier food items on the shelf it will work just fine. I love the pull out baskets for your frozen food and the ice cream shelf to keep it away from the kids! Easy to use ice maker and water, my son if 5 and able to do on his own unlike the ice maker on my mothers refrigerator.
