Less than 4 months old and needs repair

I bought less than 4 months ago and in door Ice/ water dispenser broke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice looking

Bought this about one month ago delivery was disapoiinting. When placed doors were uneven with one of them higher then the other. Dealer sent a repairman over who spoke with Frigidaire service and said problem was with one of the doors and hinge. dealer and repair service tells me it can take 8 weeks to receive.
Whwn taking ice cubes it dumps too much at once when doing crush it makes a mess. I have to us a large glass to use

It's a great quality fridge/freezer. I have plenty of room and there is a wine rack on the bottom of the door!

What she REALLY wanted!!

My wife was set on buying a sided by side and this Frigidaire is the one she picked out with the features she was looking for, and at a great price! I had measured the depth and width, but forgot about the height of this new Frigidaire. When it was delivered, it was one inch to high to fit under the over head oak cabinet. I did not let this deter not being able to use this size refrigerator. There was a 1-1/2 inch bottom trim fascia board extending below the shelf of the cabinet. I knew that this 1-1/2 inch lip could be cut out and we could move the refrigerator in place against the back wall. I had the two delivery men proceed with the installation with the unit sticking out into the kitchen. The next evening, a finish carpenter friend of ours notched out the bottom trim cabinet board and the Frigidaire slid right into place.
We got the unit leveled and there was pure joy!

My wife is quite the BOTTLED water drinker and.......NO MORE. The filtered cold water dispensing unit is perfect, along with her dispensing of the cubed ice. I prefer crushed ice. I also use the dispensed filtered water, to fill the portable plastic water reservoir of my Kreurig coffee machine.
Another feature that my wife enjoys is the nice brightness of the lights when the doors are opened, displaying everything in full view. I love the fact that there is a NICE LED display above the outside dispensing unit, to make various selections according to what settings you prefer. The inside temperature of both freezer and refrigerator, are on display, too.
My wife has mentioned that the inside shelving and door storage are just perfect for our needs. The inside food drawers can be hard and or squeaky when you pull them out. I solved that with applying a silicon based lubricant on the plastic rails/runners, which is good on plastics and at below zero temps and high temps.
Because my laptop is on the kitchen table and use every day for long periods, I hear the Frigidaire run when it needs to and is pretty quiet by my standards. My wife and I look forward to many years of enjoyment from our new side by side Frigidaire!

Needed Service

I bought this a month or so ago and I am very happy with the purchase, although I did have to get this product serviced twice since purchasing. There was a problem with the vent in the freezer. After it was serviced for the second time the fridge has been working great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
