Refrigerator door is slightly higher than freezer door, although manual says this can be adjusted. Freezer door sticks out from the body almost 1/4 inch more than refrigerator door. I see no way to adjust this. Looks cheaply made. Too many ice jams already from ice maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Thack. We want to personally thank you for sharing your important quality concerns and experience with us. Please refer to the Installation pages (5 & 6) of your owner’s manual. When installed, your refrigerator should have all four corners of the cabinet firmly on the floor, the cabinet should be level at the front and rear, the sides should tilt ¼ inch (6 mm) from front to back (to ensure that doors close and seal properly). With the appropriate suction from the door seal the freezer door should put in some. Kindest Regards, Anna

Somewhat Disappointing.

There are two design flaws that make this a Don't Buy for me, even though I can't give it back. One is the ice/water dispenser in the door. We use this feature very frequently. Selecting 'Cube' instead of 'Crush' will often result in a jam, where the ice will bottleneck and clog the funnel, getting all the ice stuck, piling up inside while no cubes drop out. Then after you've put your fingers up in it to jostle around the pieces and break loose the ice-jam, the problem isn't over with because 9 times out of 10, when you follow up with switching to 'Water', you push your glass in to trigger the water lever which gets stuck in the 'on' position. Water pours out continuously until you quickly reach back up into the ice port and break loose the remaining few pieces that were jammed up there. Now you have a big mess. This happens at least once a week in my kitchen because one of us forgets about this and chooses 'Cube'.
The second is that the rubber seal around the doors are poorly installed. Meaning that they come off easily. We had something sticky spill inside the fridge - in my experience this is a common thing that happens from time to time in most fridges.
Well the sticky substance was all it took to begin to peel off the rubber seal from the lower portion of the door.
Fridgidaire was fairly quick to get a local company to come over and fix it at no charge (as this fridge is barely 6 months old). My concern lies in the fact that this will likely happen continuously, after the warranty runs out.
So if you buy this fridge, don't choose cubes, and don't let anything sticky spill inside the fridge.
Other than that, it looks nice and offers a fair amount of room for a cabinet depth fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fridge

I have had the fridge for about a month now. Had a shallow area for a fridge and my other fridge was too big and kept banging doors on cabinets. This fridge looks great and is the perfect fir.

Very good........except for ice maker

I have had this unit for approximately 6 months. Performance of refrigerating and freezing is very satisfactory. HOWEVER, the ice maker/dispenser arrangement is unsatisfactory. First, ice cubes hang in chute requiring frequent clearing. Crushed ice dispensing continues dispensing after the container is removed. This dumps crushed ice all over the floor, requiring cleanup.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks great BUT....

Bought this for the many features like a chill drawer and more room in door. First one arrived and had to be returned as the water filter leaked. Second one arrived wouldn't make ice. Repairman fixed that. Am hoping all is now well. It is a GREAT looking addition to our kitchen and I love the finish! No finger prints!
