I am so sorry I bought this, nothing but problems, seal is weak so I come home to an open freezer door, everything freezing over and melting. Water drips from dispenser and it's very noisy.

Ice Maker is a nightmare!
on November 20, 2015

Purchased this refrigerator because of size. The ice gets stuck in the dispenser and you have to reach up and free the ice. Then you have ice all over the floor. Also, food freezes on the left side of the refrigerator. Have tried multiple temp control settings.

Hello KBLH. We do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. You may find that occasionally emptying out your ice container will assist in alleviating some of the ice buildup in the dispenser chute. We do ask that you contact us directly to discuss your concerns of food freezing on the left side further. Kindest Regards, Anna

Poor quailty
on December 15, 2015

We recently purchased new Frigidaire Gallery kitchen products; dishwasher, refrigerator & microwave. Very, Very disappointed in the refrigerator! The freezer door did not shut correctly due to insulating strip wadded up in one corner and a fan runs all the time. The freezer door insulating strip as been replaced and now when the freeze door is closed it is a 1/2" above the refrigerator door; looks cheap and poorly made! Control panel was replaced to eliminate fan running all the time but did not correct the problem. Apparently designed to run all the time.

Response from frigidaire.comBy TheresaOnline Outreach SpecialistJanuary 11, 2016
Hello Steve2665! Our new refrigerators are designed to be more efficient in that they use newer components and run at a consistent speed/temperature for a longer period of time using less energy. If your refrigerator is located in a non-humid and not warm environment and you have set your appliance to the appropriate temperature settings (37ºF for refrigerator and 0ºF for your freezer section) you should notice that it runs at a lower speed for a longer period of time. This is one way it is designed to save on energy. Appliances use more energy when they constantly turn off and on. Our refrigerators are designed to allow the fan components inside to run after the compressor turns on. This allows the internal components to cool and the machine to rest even though you may still hear something running. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us directly. Kindly, Theresa

Average refrigerator

We bought this a few months ago. It works fine but it's a no frills unit. The water from the dispenser is room temperature..not chilled. The ice dispenser clogs causing ice cubes to spill onto the floor. So far we haven't had any mechanical issues.

Hi Spgland. We certainly understand and take your concern to heart. Most refrigerators today are designed slightly different internally than they were years ago. The first few glasses may not be very cool in temperature considering the water lines typically run through the bottom of your appliance and then up through the door. These lines, being at the bottom and even around such components as your condenser, will cause the water to warm slightly. You will typically see a decrease in the water temperature once you have dispensed a few glasses; however the coolness may only last for a few glasses as the water reservoirs on refrigerators today are not as big as they once were. Water that sits in the water tubes will be warm, but you usually see an ice dispenser next to your water dispenser to ensure you receive a cooler glass of water. You may reduce the fast flow of ice through the dispenser by emptying out the ice container if the ice is not used up regularly, or making sure the ice has not collected on one side of the ice container. We ask that if you have any questions or concerns regarding your recent purchase, please contact your local retailer or us directly. Kindly, Anna
