Easy to clean finish!

I bought this model based on two details. It had to be counter depth and it had to be easily cleaned.
Obviously, it met the first requirement and it also meets the second. The finish gives me the stainless look to match our other appliances but it wipes clean with just a soft cloth and usually water. If I had believed it earlier I could have saved myself countless cleanings on our original stainless refrigerator.

Noisy,Loud,to many glitches...

I purchased this fridge a few months ago and specifically because it was counter depth. I am not sure why you pay a LOT more for a refrigerator that is smaller, but never the less the size looks good with the cabinets. My kitchen took longer to comply than anticipated, so I did not use it for the first 36 days. One I started using it I was ready to send it back! Every drawer made such a blood curdling screech when being opened and closed that I wanted to get rid of it. I called the manufacturer and she said she would send new drawers. Really? What good would that do? I declined. I found in my garage a tube of lube and Voila! The horrible noise is completely GONE! I still think the drawers could have a better design. Now I love the fridge. It has been quiet and running smoothly. The finish is very nice. Fewer fingerprints than my range and dishwasher that don't have this finish.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this because it was a counter depth unit. We did not want our fridge extending way beyond the counter top. It looks good but like the saying goes, you don't know someone until you live with them. True!
This fridge is noisy, plain and simple, noisy! There is always a humming, sometimes the pitch changes as well as the volume. The owners manual advises that the noises are part of "normal operation". If we knew how loud "normal operation" of this unit is, we may not have made the purchase. The noise of the ice maker filling is VERY loud.
The size is deceiving. It is smaller than it looks. Part of this may be because the doors extend beyond the top of the actual "box" of the unit by a about 2". It is almost like the fake facades of older buildings that extend above the actual roof of the building or candy bar packaging that is much larger than the candy bar.
The plastic drawers inside the food compartment are made of pretty thin material. That makes the drawers feel cheap. There is a lot of "slop" in the feel of the drawers when they slide in and out. The drawers do not slide open or closed easily, It almost feels like the plastic is having trouble sliding against the tracks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
