As Expected

I bought this Frigidaire over one month ago, and thus far it works great. It's fairly quiet, and holds temperature really well. There is pretty good room in it, and the shelves and door bins have been designed to maximize space. I do not use the water or ice feature much, due to the lack of water quality where I live, but there is a built in filter. I'd actually rather it not have the water/ice feature, but it doesn't take up much space so that is a bonus. Overall this is an excellent fridge, with a well thought out design. The SS does smudge a little bit, but easily cleans with a soft cloth. I do not regret this purchase. :-)

I love my fridge. It looks really nice and I love the smudge free finish. The freezer is plenty big for my family's needs. My only complaint is the can storage in the door of the fridge takes up too much room. I would rather have another shelf in the door. Being counter depth, it is a little smaller than my old fridge but we really haven't had any issues fitting things in. I love the ice and water in the door.

The icemaker/dispenser is a significant problem

We had an older version of this fridge in a rental unit, and were excited to buy the new version for our new home. As you'll see from other reviewers the icemaker/dispenser is a significant problem. We've already had a service person out who replaced a circuit behind the front panel, but to no avail. The icemaker doesn't cut the cubes such that many stay stuck together; they then impede the screw that pushes them to the chute; the screw gets stuck so you're pressing your glass against the paddle and the mechanism just churns; the chute may then sudenly fill but the opening at the bottom will be jammed by a double cube causing ice to pile up and never come out. You have to open the freezer door and pull out the cubes stuffing the chute, at which time a bunch are sure to finally break and come flying out the front of the door and onto the floor while you're trying to grab a handful to put in the sink or your glass. We'd love to recommend this fridge but can't until Frigidaire figures out how to correct this major flaw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this refrigerator about a month and half ago. We bought it for the following reasons: 1) For looks 2) Got a great deal on it and 3) Had read pretty good reviews. Now that being said, it is very true that it makes a lot of noise. It looks nice and items do get cold. Sometimes too cold to the point of freezing them. Depending on where you put the items, they will either not get super cold (btw I have the refrigerator temp set at 35 F) or they will freeze. I am still trying to figure out where to put what and at what levels to make sure items do not freeze. I have seen a couple of review videos on CNET about this refrigerator and they do critique the refrigerator for not keeping consistent temperatures all over the inside. We also bought this refrigerator because it was larger than our old one. After trying to put things in, it really doesn't look that much bigger. Kind of deceiving. Overall, it is a very nice looking stainless steel refrigerator. It is louder compared to other refrigerators and temperature varies in the fresh food area. Freezer area is great.

Beautiful and sleek

I am in the middle of a remodeling project, creating an open concept kitchen/dining/living room. My former refrigerator was huge and looked like a rhinoceros. This Frigidaire counter depth refrigerator with smudge proof stainless steel is sleek and elegant and looks so much better! It'll look nice in this open concept space, without sticking out too much or calling unnecessary attention to itself. It also is an excellent ice maker...much better than my former, bigger fridge!

Our old refrigerator finally died. Space was an issue and this particular refrigerator fit perfect. We had a problem with it after delivery but the company was so helpful and brought us out a new one. It looks great and we are enjoying all the features. We are looking forward to replacing the rest of our appliances with Frigidaire.

We've had our Frigidaire for about a month now from our recent kitchen renovation and we are very happy with it! My wife loves the look and it being smudge proof so the kid's fingerprints don't show; and I love the water dispenser!
