Fair value for counter depth unit.

Bought this unit about 2 months ago. Unit appearance is good and price paid for a counter depth is good. Unit is very noisy. Much more than the unit it replaced (16 years old). Ice maker is cheaply made and frequently has problems dispensing ice which requires intervention. Clogs frequently with the groups of joined cubes since maker does not make individual cubes (a problem) they come out in groups of two and three and are broken up later by the dispenser but not always. Many times ice lands on the floor in this process when it comes unclogged. As an engineer, this should not happen, ever. Also, the noise level is high from this unit. Internal shelving has no slide out shelves and bottom rack is too small for the heavy and tall items like wine bottles or small jugs. We do like the digital display and in-unit water and air filters. The reviews on-line show that this unit has a lot of manufacturing defects and many have failed outright which makes me very concerned about the longevity of this purchase. Not sure I would purchase this unit again now aware of all the issues. Frigidaire is normally a respected brand but while the price point is good it is too cheaply made for this brand name.

We have a small space and this fits perfectly. Wouldn't work for a larger family due to smaller space but good for us. Ice and water features work well.

Quietest ever..

We bought this a month ago and I have not had this good a refrigerator in my whole adult life. It does all I want it to in a smaller space. If want a side by side this is the one to get.

Icemaker and water dispenser needs work

Ice "cubes" that are stuck together clog the ice chute from time to time necessitating a manual clean out. Water dispenser does not always shut off cleanly, dripping water into the tray which then needs to be sopped up to avoid mold formation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features

We bought this refrigerator about one month ago. The door controls are easy to work and it's easy to adjust temperatures, etc as needed. We picked a model that was a narrow depth, about 2-3 inches less than the regular model. This worked well in our kitchen, due to a nearby kitchen island. The freezer ice compartment is challenging to get out and the freezer does make a high pitched noise from time to time, which is a little irritating. Overall, good refrigerator so far. Did not give a five star rating due to the above mentioned freezer issues.
