After my previous Frigidaire (10 yrs old) began to auto defrost I knew it was time to upgrade. I purchase the side by side counter depth and I love it.

Nice Refridge

Bought this last month to replace refridge that died! Pretty quiet, fits where I needed it to. So far no problems except one of the draws squeak when opening but I can fix that. The only thing I don't like is you can't choose the size of the ice cubes or stop it from making more ice. Cubes are way too small so it's constantly making ice! No big concerns that would keep me from buying again. Pretty roomy for a side by side. Only problem was with the seller. Couldn't get it to me when I really needed it and he assured me it was made in America, well guess what....this one was made in Mexico!

Great fridge, ice maker not so great

We love this fridge overall. It works well and has plenty of space despite being counter depth. However, the ice maker is junk. We've had this fridge for 4 months and have already needed 2 service calls regarding the ice maker. It doesn't make enough ice for 2 adults. Disappointed is an understatement for this ice maker.

Great... Except for Ice Dispenser

Purchased about 4 months ago. Great fridge, as advertised. My only gripe is the ice dispenser. Odd design feature in the door allows ice to build up. When you press the lever to call for ice, the ice comes out fine. However ice cubes get caught behind the chute and wedges the lever in the open position. You take your cup away and the ice continues to shoot out. You have to open the door to stop it and then either push the ice through or pull out above by hand. This happens about once a week- just about when you've forgotten about it. Grrr....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
