Great Refrigerator

We bought this fridge about a month ago. So far, so good. Consumer Reports gave it a very good rating so we went with it. The interior design is good overall, but we do not use the can holder area on the door because we do not buy beer or soda in cans very often, so for me it would be nice if it coI'll be used for something else. It also tends to make popping noises every so often (and it's not the ice maker, that's another noise). It is not a bad noise, but you definitely hear it. I would have given this fridge a four and a half star rating, but t was not an option. Love the counter depth as its a perfect fit in our kitchen!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad ice machine design

We have had this fridge about 3 months ago.the ice constantly gets stuck in the dispenser.then piles up and dumps out all over. The bins inside are cheaply made and don't roll in and out easily. I wish we would have looked at other fridges before we bought this one.but our other fridge was broke and we needed a new one asap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey Ace5mild-thank you for sharing your refrigerator experience. I recommend trying and or checking the following: Has ice melted around the auger? Are cubes jammed between icemaker and rear of ice bin? Also, I suggest rubbing the sides of the drawer with wax paper to make them easier to slide in/out. I hope this information is helpful. More than expected!

I have my Frigidaire for about 3 weeks and am very happy with all the features including the light that dims as you close the fridge. The freezer is amazing with so much space!!!

One of your plastic drawers "screeches"loud enough to wake the dead eveytime we try to open it, which also isn't easy. The two bottom shelves in the refrigerator door are almost useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good price for counter depth

Ice maker failed 1st day. The drawers do not open and close smoothly or evenly.

Awesome stainless exterior finish!

Bought this model mainly for the counter depth dimensions, and slowly trading out older appliances that are not energy efficient. Have had some problems with the freezer door not closing properly. Primarily due to our uneven floor resulting in leveling problems and also from overloading freezer shelves. Otherwise this is a great fridge! Love the exterior as it does not show fingerprints which reduces cleaning, AND the icemaker produces a great volume of ice which we need and use daily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had an older Frigidaire and had some problems with it but this one seems to be very good. The old one was a French door model we decided to go with a side by side and it has been much better

All good except the leaking water dispenser.

It's a great fridge but the water dispenser drips. The repair guy stated this is normal. Had I known I would have bought a different fridge.

JulieD, I hate to hear about your recent experience with water dripping from your dispenser. I understand you have had a service call, but I have a couple of things for you to check. See if the water is coming from your ice chute. If the door to your ice chute is not sealing properly, you may see moisture or ice build-up. If the ice chute is not the culprit, your refrigerator's water valve may need to be replaced. If you see a rapid increase in water dripping in the tray, I recommend turning your water valve off where it is connected to the refrigerator water line, and get in touch with us directly for assistance.
