Love Fridge/Hate Noise

We have had this refrigerator for 1 week. I love how it looks, the space and layout inside is large and sufficient, the water dispenser is great and the filter help with the taste! What I can't stand is the high-pitch humming noise it is making. It's constant and is driving me crazy. I can hear when the fan runs and it is very quiet. I don't know why this humming is happening. The delivery guys said it is normal but I have to question that. Although this refrigerator is great in so many ways, I don't know if it is enough to compensate for the constant buzz. It is only a week old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Giant Step UP !

This came with our new Jayco Pinnacle 5th wheel RV and is was one of the reasons we purchased it. It is a major step up in room and Quality over the camper type Refers we have used in the past >

What is left to say? Purchased Feb. 2015, dead control panel June 2016. How can I express how unacceptable this is?

Not Worth It!

I bought this 6 months ago and the ice maker just went on it. You have to shield yourself from the ice dispenser. It shoots out at about 10 cubes a second and gets clogged very easily. It's a very loud fridge also; whines at times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Noises and Countless Repairs

Let me start with the good: This fridge worked well for a year - I had no problems. I was happy with the appliance.
Now the bad: Just over a year old and I have had repair people out MANY times to work on the fridge. It is no longer under warranty and it is a MESS. The freezer is so loud and makes an obnoxious humming noise due to a faulty ice maker. There is ice build up everywhere. The cost of repairs is approaching what I paid for this fridge. I would definitely put your money elsewhere and buy an appliance that is going to be more reliable and work for longer than a year.

All that swimmers is not gold

Bought this appliance 2 months ago. It has a sleek look and some great features. The size and capacity had been just right for our family. However , the sleek look done not make up for the fact that"something " about it runs 23 of 24 hours a day. The running changes from a high shrill hum to a terrible racket. The repairman that came out one month after purchase says this is "normal". Also the chill drawer sticks and is difficult to open. Again, the repairman said he couldn't do anything about that problem - it was a cosmetic issue. So in conclusion what looks good is not as it appears. So sad because we buy appliances to last along time - don't change on a whim!

Hoosier Mimi, I am sorry to hear that your new refrigerator is posing concerns for you. I understand that you are concerned about how long your refrigerator is running. Most new refrigerators are designed to save energy. These units are equipped with low energy consumption fans and compressors. These refrigerators will run most of the time and only stop when a defrost cycle is needed to thaw ice buildup in the freezer.
