A unique bargain in a hard-to-find category

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second FGHC2331PF I have bought. The first one was a "find" because it was the biggest stainless side-by-side I could fit in my counter-depth new townhouse (2009) AND about half the price of others. I then designed and built a new house, and since I was taking the fridge, designed the house to the same dimensions. Well, 7 years later the fridge failed (compressors are the Achilles heel of all refrigerators) and the cost to repair was about 3/4 the cost of a new one. When I went looking for a new fridge, guess what? It was again the standout choice, even though the first one failed. I figure I can buy one of these every 7 years versus paying almost 50% more for a non-US-manufactured brand, and come out ahead. Oh yeah, it actually is a nice fridge and works well in out household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was definitely an upgrade for me. It's quiet. The water and ice from the dispenser always tastes fresh and clean. The price was good for my budget. I was able to get a sleek new fridge, with everything I wanted, for a great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator, the look, the functionality, the operations of it all. When the ice maker cycles, it's a bit loud. Also when the cubes get hung up in the shoot, then the explosion of cubes, is not great either. I love the reminder about the water filter and the ease of replacing. Love the interior and the space it offers. Friends were also moving and came to look at my condo and also loved my new fridge. They bought one for their Villa. Thank you
