Slim, but roomy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my fridge! Our kitchen has a tiny space between counter and fridge and the thinner profile of this fridge gives us back close to 3 inches. It may not seem like a lot, but it makes and amazing difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this refrigerator is in our basement bar, is not, therefore, the "main" refrigerator in our home, and is smaller than the one it replaces, we like it so far. It has all the storage room we need in the freezer and the refrigerator and has caused us no problems yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am pleased with my new refrigerator. I like the easy smudgeproof stainless steel finish and size of it. The few things I am not so happy about is that the ice maker doesn't always work right and the ice comes pouring out all over. Also, I wasn't aware that the water doesn't dispense cold water.
And lastly, it wasn't balanced so that the door automatically closes, therefore, I always have to make sure I get it closed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Chele4, thank you for sharing your refrigerator experience with us. I have some items for you to check in regards to the jamming dispenser. Are there any ice cubes jammed between the ice maker and the rear of the ice bin? If so, please remove the cubes and put the bin in the proper position. If this didn’t help, has ice melted and frozen around the auger in your ice bin (the spiral metal bar in the bottom)? If so, please remove the ice container, thaw and empty the contents (my family uses too much ice for me to melt it-so I put it in a bowl), clean and dry the container, and replace in proper position. When new ice is made the dispenser should operate normally. Our refrigerators manufactured on or after 2001, the dispenser does not supply chilled water. The dispenser draws water from the home's water supply through the water filtration system for fresh, clean water. Pages 5-6 in your Owner’s Manual show how to achieve the ¼ inch tilt needed to ensure that the doors close and seal properly. I hope this helped! Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

Door gasket leaking, frost in freezer

After about 2 months there is frost build up in freezer near door gasket that appears crunched. While it looks sealed obvious air infiltration. Just put in service call. Not thrilled with this considering the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't even notice the space is any smaller than a regular depth side by side. Couple ok kinks is ice and water seem to be deeper into the cavity that often water or ice flies out when filing up a glass/pitcher. The crisper was squeaking in the most awful high pitch sound...I was sent both a new crisper drawer and basebto hang from. Last the freezer door cubby bumps into the shelf, I simply removed the shelf front face and it's perfect . I wouldn't change for anything else

Inconsistent Cooling

I bought this 6 months ago and it has been a constant frustration. The refrigerator side of the unit has wild fluctuations of temperature and will frequently freeze anything inside. Now the unit is showing an error code. I've had the unit serviced under warranty twice, and the issues have not been solved.
It is a fantastic looking appliance, but what good is a refrigerator if all it does is freeze your food. I'm very unsatisfied and I hope it eventually gets fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
