Happy despite some strange sounds the 1st. 3 weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been about 2 months since we purchased the fridge. The value is good and the fit and finish is good. The space distribution is good (especially for a counter depth fridge which we wanted) and the freezer baskets are better than just having shelves. We had some very strange clunking and churning noises the first few weeks that would come and go. These seem to have stopped which is good because otherwise a service call would be in order. The sounds came from behind the freezer section but did not come directly from the ice maker. The fan motor in back (not the compressor) is a tad noisy but okay.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The drawers screech when we open and close them and the refridgerator door does not have enough useable storage. Replacement filter lasts about 6 months and is pretty expensive.
Otherwise it is a nice quiet fridge

Hey richie2169, thank you for taking the time to share your refrigerator experience. Sometimes if you take the offending drawer out, rub the gliders with waxed paper or maybe olive oil, it will ease the gliding (and hopefully the sound). Almost every shelf and bin in your refrigerator is moveable, so you can customize the interior to suit your needs. For an average family of four we recommend changing your water filter every 4-6 months depending upon water and ice usage. A clogged filter will slow ice production, produce hollow or smaller cubes, and eventually lead to no ice being produced. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this fridge for about 6 months. Good capacity. Counter depth does not take away from capacity. Nice large drawers. Lots of space on the doors. Easy to clean on the outside.
