Quiet and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this refrigerator a few weeks now. It is very quiet and very efficient. I am not sure it is the cause, but our electric bill dropped $50 a month since we have had it. Perhaps our old refrigerator was drawing a lot of electricity. We had one problem, caused entirely by me. I put pkgs of meat on a shelf and thought the door closed completely. Evidently the pkgs stuck out enough to prevent the door closing. Next morning we noticed the temp readings on the door showed the freezer had risen to 44 degrees. Once opening the freezer we saw the problem and adjusted our placement of the pkgs. There was some frost built up on one shelf. It took a few hours to cool down to the factory preset of zero degrees and it took a few days to rid the shelf of frost but all is well now. Very satisfied. Delivery and setup was very professional and prompt.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice product for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator to replace my 3 year old Samsung after the ice maker went out and the products were discontinued. I wanted to replace it with a counter depth and this one was a great price. I was so excited when it was installed and gave me an additional 5" between my refrigerator and island. So far, the product has worked great and my family enjoys having ice again. A little noisy when making ice, but for the price, I am very pleased.

Makes noices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is made in Mexico! That doesn't make it inferior it's just that I should have bought Made in America. The frig works fine but makes a lot of noices. Which apparently are normal but very annoying.

What I would change: the fingerprint resistant stainless works pretty well but the handles to the doors are another matter (and this goes for the stove and dishwasher as well). Frigidaire should make them a diamond cut dull metal -not shiny- so you won't see smudges. If they would change the handle texture, it would not show hand/finger prints and wouldn't have to be wiped clean as much. Maybe I am being petty but I hate seeing smudges.
